This beautiful establishment is a little off the main road but absolutely worth the stop. The staff is so kind and sweet, even the chef came out and we were able to compliment her work. I ordered the pesto alla penne and I could not get enough. The sauce has so many layers of flavor that had me wanting to continue eating despite how full I was. The cheesy garlic bread makes you want to melt in your seat. Please support this local business at all costs. They are too precious.

My family was famished while traveling through and had a great meal here. Service: very friendly and attentive Ambiance: from the outside, looks like a converted gas station, which definitely gave us pause, but inside was very clean, and while by no means luxurious, it was very comfortable. Between us, we shared two different pasta dishes, salad, and pizza. All were very good. Two of us avoid gluten, and we ordered a gluten-free Mac and cheese and split a cauliflower crust pizza. The gluten-free Mac was as good as such a dish could be and the cauli pizza was very good. They use a Cisco product, but they cooked it so that it came out with a nice combination of crunchy and chewy. In every dish, the ingredients were excellent? And the salads were top-notch. Free bread and a balsamic/olive oil dip was also a nice touch. They use sausage that is made locally, and while everyone has different preferences, we liked it. The mozzarella in all of the dishes seemed to have a bit of a smoky/umami thing going on that I really liked. We had a great time, and were very surprised. We did learn that this location is no longer owned by the same folks who own the place of the same name in Roseville. For the price point, this place is great. I will try to find a way to pass through there again.

Really good food, everything seemed freshly made and just the right portions. It was neat to see them make the pizzas and toss the dough around.

We had a blast at The (little Italian) Place! They had a live band in the bar, so we hung out for a long while after dinner. We went for a special dinner, (date night) on Halloween. They did not disappoint!!! The food and service were excellent. And we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. When we first arrived, we were greeted with smiles fir miles, and seated right away. They brought us bread with a tasty dipping sauce. And had our drinks out pretty soon after we ordered. The menu had enough choices to make my decision difficult. I decided to try their pizza another time...because, it is not often I find an authentic Italian menu!!! And, I swear The Place smelled like I was in Italy. I ordered Papas Rice Pot! It has italian sausage, shrimp, bacon, spinach, tomatoes, and shallots on rice, with tons of amazing flavors. I like to try new things. OMG! It was definitely nothing like anything I have ever had. I was craving it ever since, so we are going back tomorrow for more. Hubby had Mikeys Big Balls as a starter. Big meatballs covered in red sauce, and cheeses. They were exceptional, according to him. His main course was Clams Linguine. I had to taste it, as the smell overtook me. It was the best clam sauce ever! Plenty of tender clams, so I stole a few, lol! We had handmade cannoli for dessert. We split one order, since we were already full. Wowza! Yummy and impressive. You must try it! So decadent. After dinner we wandered into the bar to look, and ended up staying for hours. The bartenders were very good at making us feel welcome. The band was really good. Heck, we even danced some. Now THAT is what I call a REAL date night!!! We will definitely be back. Likely tomorrow!

My wife and I went to The Place for dinner Saturday night. We had reservations and were seated upon arrival. Our server was April and she is very attentive and friendly. She gladly took pictures of us! April brought out some focaccia bread and olive oil/balsamic to dip in. We ordered Chicken PIcatta and Chicken Marsala. The chicken in both entrees was moist and tender. Both dishes were excellent with nice flavors and freshness. We also shared a Caesar salad and the dressing was very tasteful. Rudy, the new owner came out to greet us and was very friendly. We will definitely return! Dana & Melonnee
